NEWS FROM THE COACH HOUSE
We are delighted that we have once again received a 5 STAR GOLD AWARD from VISIT ENGLAND (AA) following rigorous inspection in September 2020. In addition, we have a CERTIFICATE OF EXCELLENCE from Trip-Advisor as a business that consistently earns top ratings from guests.
This winter will see us working hard on our 5 acre gardens in readiness for the spring. We hope for another good year with our grape and apple harvests. All guests to The Coach House are treated to a bottle of our pasturised apple juice, and other local goodies in their welcome hamper.
Our contemporary Victorian style walled kitchen and flower garden is now well established. Guests to The Coach House are able to stroll in this area and (when available) enjoy some of the fruit and vegetable bounty which we pick during the summer and early Autumn. Several hundred mixed daffodil and tulip bulbs were added to this area in readiness for the Spring. The gardens at The Old Rectory are a riot of Spring colour throughout the 5 acres. We hope that the wild flower meadow area which we planted in Spring 2016 will delight again this summer. Bees and butterflies visited from June until the end of September. Our Indian Runner ducks and moorhens continue to enjoy our 2 large natural ponds.
Regardless of the weather outside, the Coach House is always gloriously light, spacious, warm and inviting. A marvelous place to either relax and enjoy the tranquility of our private 5 acre grounds and panoramic views of the countryside beyond or, to return to after a day out and about in our gem of a county.
Do come and share these delights and enjoy all there is to offer.
